About
Hi, I'm Matthew Lee Hinman (call me Lee),
I currently work as a Sysadmin at a storage company, where I spend a lot of time fixing machines and fixing our broken SAN. I spend a lot of time doing security research as well as developing security tools (mostly in scripting langugaes like Perl and Ruby). I've written a few tools myself (you can see all of them under the projects section). I enjoy working with Linux, BSD, Mac OSX and Solaris. I tolerate working with Windows :). I am also involved in the development of the Hex NSM liveCD.
You can see a list of my projects monitored by github by following this link. (Only a few are actually tracked by github)
I'm a big fan of open-source software, almost all of the software I produce is available under an open-source license.
I spend a lot of time playing video games and I also do photography, although I haven't put up too many pictures lately as I've been very busy.
If you want to contact me, use the information on the contact page.
Curious about the title? ":wq" is a Vim command to write to the current file, then quit. My most favorite vim command for myself :)
If you absolutely must know what I look like, here I am:
